Dr. Li An is a professor in SDSU’s geography department. His work focuses on understanding, envisioning and planning of Complex Human-Environment Systems to achieve improved sustainability. María Luisa Zúñiga, Ph.D.

Epidemiologist Maria Luisa Zuniga conducts transnational and community-based participatory research to study the intersection of alcohol and drug use, mental health, sexual risk behaviors and self-care practices that contribute to poor health among diverse, vulnerable populations.
