David Collins (Collins.david.andrew at gmail.com) is a magna cum laude graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. in Microbiology. As a native San Diegan he enjoys cycling, mixology, and the culinary use of cultured foods and beverages. His research interests center on the role of microbial cell biology in environmental processes, the structure and function of bacterial cells, and the interactions of microbes in ecosystems. He is currently a graduate student in the Master’s degree program in Cell and Molecular Biology at SDSU.
