Students will gain knowledge on basic principles of molecular and clinical virology. Theywill become acquainted with viral infections of historical importance in Spain as well as very recent cases of infections of important human viral pathogens in the news today. Lectures will be accompanied by visits to both scientific and touristic attractions so the students will gain a full understanding of their surroundings; Barcelona capital, Catalonia, and Spain.
