Coastal Ocean Dynamics Group

The Coastal Ocean Dynamics Group  are  researchers at the Computational Science Research Center to satisfy the need for more precise models that improve the performance of existing global and regional simulations.

GCEM Project

The GCEM was built to resolve high-resolution (tenths of a meter)  nearshore processes. One of the most important features of this model is its use of general curvilinear coordinates in the three dimensions and its capable of simulating nonhydrostatic flow.
