Planning & Evaluation Core
The Planning and Evaluation Core establishes priorities and criteria that are used by the Executive Committee to develop new calls for proposals, continually using the recommendations of the Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) for the action and evaluation plan already in place; the plan will be revised and updated as needed in future years. The IAC is central to establishing priorities for the continued growth of the Partnership and assessing progress towards the achievement of Partnership goals. Based on the needs of the Partnership and the greater San Diego region, the Executive Committee, Internal Advisory Committee, and Program Steering Committee may identify specific areas of research and/or research development that should be encouraged. The Planning and Evaluation Core also includes carefully monitoring the success of each project and program, as well as external evaluation activities.
