Dr. Robert Robinson giving a presentation at SDSU on Science, Practice, and Ethics: Meeting the Challenge of Disparities in the 21st Century. As Associate Director for Health Equity of the Office on Smoking and Health (CDC) 1993-2006, Dr. Robinson built national programs targeting Communities of Color, women, blue collar and agricultural workers, LGBT populations, youth, and the poor, including in South American and Sub-Sahara Africa. He developed the Pathways to Freedom tobacco program for the African American community and chaired the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer. He is currently the Chair of our Program Steering Committee (PSC).
